What do u think the employee cell phone policy should be in salon on a professional level?

NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED DURING WORK HOURS. No ands ifs or buts about it. Personal calls will be conducted during breaks or after hours ONLY. IF THE EMPLOYEES DON'T LIKE IT SHOW THEM THE DOOR. The business owner creates policy even for a non-direct employees such as a chair renter. What do u think the employee cell phone policy should be in salon on a professional level?
There should be no cell phone activity by employees in any workplace, unless on break. What do u think the employee cell phone policy should be in salon on a professional level?
i think that the salon is a working environment and should be respected as such..while the employee is on the clock, the cell phone should be turned off. The employee should be allowed to use the cell phone on breaks and lunch and in a designated area.. and never by the register where money is taken..with todays technology it is possible to text message someones credit card number or anything...not to say that they would but it is something for the employer to take into consideration.
