Would a female hairdresser (working) at a hair salon, be able to tell a guy what hairstyles are ';in, in style'; at current (the present?)





I feel as though, I would sound silly if I walked into a salon and asked a staff member there something like for instance: ';Hi, would there be a hairdresser here, who could tell me what hairstyles are in, (in style/if not popular) at the moment?Would a female hairdresser at a hair salon be able to tell a guy what hairstyles are ';in, in style'; at current

well she is a woman. and im sure a woman could tell you what looks good on a man. unless shes a lesbiean. so i guess you could look at it that way
i know this sucks as a dude, but trust me, ask a gay guy. they cut better hair. Plus theyre more better at judging fashion then women. i know it sucks, i didnt beleive it until i saw it.
I think she can, but if you get into a salon and out of the blue you ask so, it would sound weird!


anyway, more than an in haircut you should get one that matches your face shape!
Don't feel silly asking a hairdresser that question, that's a totally normal question to ask them at anytime. It's their job to know whats in at the moment. If you go a salon that is a little more trendy and a bit more expensive, they will be able to tell you about all the latest styles this season and help you choose one that will suit you best. Just make an appointment and go in.
They will tell you; yes; here's the correct way: Call and tell them what you need ';My hair isn't in the best condition; can you set me up with someone who can help me';? This way, you don't have to go into great detail and it gives them an idean of whom would be able to work on your hair; THEN you can tell them what the problem is and and they can suggest/work with you on a style. They're professionals and get paid to do it; so go for it!
Thats why we go to classes to keep up on that sort of stuff!!! The person will know!Go to a trendy salon stay out of the mom and pop ones!
DON'T FEEL LIKE YOU WOULD SOUND SILLY IF YOU WALKED INTO A SALON AND ASKED, THAT IS WHAT THE STYLIST IS THERE FOR. TO GIVE YOU THE STYLE THAT YOU WANT. AND IF THEY KEEP UP WITH HAIR STYLES, THEY SHOULD KNOW. AND THE ONLY WAY THAT THEY CAN DO IT IS IF YOU TELL THEM OR ASK THEM IF THAT STYLE WOULD LOOK GOOD ON YOU.

Hair dressers (I live with one) Spend a lot of time looking at fashion magazines. They will find a style that fits your time and hairs needs. They might look at your hair and think it to thick or thin for certian hair cuts. This is what they are paid to do. I would go to a nice Salon where the people are dressed appropriately. Don't go to walmart or some cheap place they will not do as nice of job. Especially since Those types of places hire fresh out of school hair dressers and you want some who has been working at least 5 years.
Of course she'd know the ';in'; styles for men! Just because she lacks a y chromosome it doesn't mean she's clueless as to what men are wearing as far as hairstyles.
That's what they are there for. Go in and tell them to make you pretty! (Have them trim up that uni-brow too, there's no excuse for that.)
If a female hairdresser cares about her craft, she would be able to know what was in for both females and males. If they are from a small town like me, both genders get mullets, though I would like to admit, there is nothing hotter than a woman with a nice she-mullet.

Female hairdressers cut men's hair too. It is part of their job to be able to advise their clients. I would think that they would know more than anyone else which hairstyles are ';in';.

Why wouldnt she know?! Its pretty much a hair stylists job to keep up with the latest trends and techniques. Also, just open up a magazine and look at all the models. Find a picture you like and bring it in.
no this is not silly its a good idea acctually because girls now what they like in a guy and they no how the hair should look its just a girl thing
