How would i get a job at a tanning salon?

i'm 15, turning 16 in november, what age do you need to be?

It really depends on where you are, and what the child labors law is. Sometimes when you are that young, at the age of 16, you would need work experience to follow up to the fact you can control a environment such as a tanning salon, tanning salons deal with dangerous heating machines that can hurt you or the customer. like, for example what happens if you get hurt the company could get in huge trouble because you are considered a minor. I am not saying im doubting you will get the job, it also depends on who you know in the workplace and how you present yourself. If you don't get the job, always try again, start out small, gather as much retailing and customer service experience as possible.





But as far as getting a job, make sure when you go into the tanning salon, smile and look presentable, but dont look like your trying to hard. Go up to a co worker who is not busy, and kindly ask in a nice tone, while shaking there hand ';Hi, my name is 'insert name here', may I speak to one of your managers please?';





When you talk to the manager, shake their hand firmly, and stair them in the eye, be professional, and say ';My name is 'insert name here' i was just wondering, do you have any opening right now available for hire?';





if they do, ask for an application, and fill it out, but dont stop there, when you give them the application, make sure to ask for their number call them back within 1-2 days, because managers are always busy and they wont always have time to cal you back.





when you call ask them, ';Hi remember me, my name is 'insert name her', I was wondering about a follow up about my application and a possible interview';





if there busy, keep trying, because if they see your persistent, it shows your a hard worker!
