Should I go to a salon, or can I do it at home?

My hair is naturally very dark (almost black) brown and I have had it died blonde with a ton of high lights but theres still low lights of brown in it. I can't afford to keep paying 100 to get it touched up so I want to dye it back. I am wondering if it would be just as good for me to dye it at home wiht a box or do I have to go to the salon to get it right??Should I go to a salon, or can I do it at home?
Go to a salon one last time, because you don't want to end messing the whole thing and get frustrated with the results.Should I go to a salon, or can I do it at home?
if you dont want to pay for it do it yourself but the bad part is it wont look as good as it would be if you got it done at a salon

I got my hair a mahogony at a salon once.


The darkness faded out and it just left my hair an ugly red-brown.


Then my hair turned an ugly orangey color from the chlorine because i do swim team.


I tried to do it myself 100 times (exaggeration) to get my natural hair color back. It didn't work. So I just let my hair grow out over swimming season and now that its over, I'm going to the stylist to get my natural hair color back with 2 blonde streaks.


I suggest going to the salon.


You NEVER know how your hair is going to turn out. Hell, I've gotten blonde from a brown box before.


Though you might be better off because blonde is the easiest hair color to dye to another color.


(Which is why you should bleach your hair before getting pink or something)
Going from dark to blonde needs a professional! It is well worth the money!
i got my hair done once in a salon, and the price was outragous. I always do my hair at home, and i think it looks fine...
