ADVERTISE!! And also, word of mouth is great. Do a special for your current clients, give them a business card that says, refer a friend and get 50% off your next cut. The friend brings in the card with your clients name and now you have a new client. Everyone loves a great haircut for 50% off and it helps your business grow.





Also, check with the local highschools and see if they have a schools newspaper where you can put an ad...and put something like, 10%off with your student ID.

and putting your salon listing in the yellow pages
advertisement in local papers, maybe try some sort of discount, send out flyer's in mail box
market yourself..get your name out....hire the best workers, and pay them well so that you can be reliable....and then just explode!!
Advertise! Advertise ! Advertise ! Make business cards, fliers, or posters. Have some specials, you know stuff to really reel in the customers. And for the customers that you already have ask them to spread the word about your new shop (word of mouth), give them a deal you know like half off their next hairstyle for the new customer that they bring in :) GOOD LUCK ! ! !
