My hair looks darker than it did in the salon, why?

I'm a natural blonde and I decided to get some brown low lights. In the salon, I was pleased with the result because I could still see most of my natural color, but now at home it looks all brunette which I did not want to happen! Why does my hair look browner than it did at the salon? My hair looks darker than it did in the salon, why?
Salons have fluorescent lighting, much brighter than usual. You will see it's lighter in the sun.My hair looks darker than it did in the salon, why?
different lighting. if you go out in the sun you'll be able to see it like you did at the salon and any other brighter places your in. at the moment you're probably not use to your highlights and are in a not soo bright-lighted place.
Well, it probably happened simply because the salon had really bright lighting. Maybe next time you get your hair colored you could take a quick walk outside and look into a mirror to get the real color before you leave.
it's the lighting. it should be lighter in about a week. that's why you always pick a color lighter than what you want so this won't happen. wash a few times daily and you should be good.
It faded.

If you washed your hair when you just got home from the Salon, or the next day, the dye came out a little.

You're supposed to wait at least 2 days before washing it.

it's the lights, the salon had bright lights so you can see your hair well. Obviously your home is not lighted as well as the salon. Just wait, the brown will fade
i think it was different lighting or the color took a while to set in i guess
